A 16-week, hands-on path into the carpentry and construction trades, built for entry-level work or an apprenticeship.
What it is
Over 16 weeks, this training-to-employment program introduces the foundational skills and knowledge of the carpentry and construction trades. Hands-on technical instruction sits alongside cultural awareness, job readiness, and health and safety training. The training is aligned with Ontario’s 403A General Carpenter and 296A Native Residential Construction Worker curriculum standards.
Who it is for
People who want to get into the skilled trades and learn by doing, whether you are starting fresh or coming back to the trades. You do not need experience to begin.
