What it is

Launched in 2013 with Gezhtoojig Employment and Training Services in Sudbury, the Line Crew Ground Support Program (LCGS) is a work-ready program for First Nations people in Ontario. Over 16 weeks, it prepares you to step into the power line and construction sectors. As new power grids and infrastructure projects are built across Canada, the need for skilled workers in these industries keeps growing.

First Nations people in Ontario who want a safe, steady, ready-to-work entry into the power and construction industries.


Where it leads

The program prepares trainees for entry-level opportunities and apprenticeship pathways with power and construction companies looking for safety-conscious, ready-to-work employees.
